Pfister Faucets and Kitchen update

This past week we finally started with those forever changes in our fixer farmhouse kitchen. When we moved in, our kitchen was one of the first projects we tackled because, well, it looked like this.

My dream for this kitchen from day one was to have a traditional timeless, mixed metal, true farmhouse kitchen. While we still have many things to do like change out a light fixture, install a vent hood, to replacing the windows and flooring, we got to tackle one of our to do list projects recently and that was replacing our gold faucet. This is what our kitchen has looked like for the past 9 months.

I was certain Gold was the way to go for our faucet. While I did love the choice we made with gold, it wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned. I envisioned gold hardware, stainless steel appliances and a few stainless steel accents mixed in with the gold. I literally striped the entire kitchen from anything stainless steel and that’s where my friends at Pfister Faucets come in to rescue me and some of my design choices.

I was instantly head over heals for their Ladera faucet collection. It was everything I was truly looking for, and it fit perfectly into my original mixed metal plans.

One of the first things we fell in love with was the high neck design. Then it came time to install and that’s where we fell in love all over again. This Pfister faucet was one of the easiest installations we have ever done. To say it was a breeze is an understatement. If you follow their easy to understand directions you should have no worries too. Another key feature we really love is the stainless steel spot defense. We are on treated rural water so, hard water and spots happen from time to time. But, with the spot defense technology pfister faucets has created I get to win the hard water spot battle.

I could go on and on about everything I love about our new faucet from, the two water features, to the easy install, the retractable head and the soap dispenser but, I think you should really make the switch to Pfister Faucets and fall in love too.
